The first release is on its way.
Xtic is in its final preparation for the first public release. Here is what you will need, and what every release includes.
Requirements
| Host | A Linux server (x86-64 or ARM64) |

| Container runtime | Docker 24 or later with Docker Compose |
| CPU and memory | 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM |
| Disk | Room for the database and a staging volume for runs in flight |
| Network | SSH from the Xtic server to every server you back up; HTTPS to your storage |
Nothing is installed on the servers you back up — Xtic reaches them over SSH.
Every release includes
- Container images for x86-64 and ARM64, pinned by digest and signed with Sigstore cosign
- An install script and a compose file, each with its SHA-256 checksum
- The recovery CLI for Linux, Windows and macOS
- Release notes and a software bill of materials
- For Enterprise: an offline bundle for air-gapped installations, from the customer portal
